I don’t frequent Twitter very often, which is kind of a shame — I really should check it out more often. Each time someone adds my tweets to their feed, though, I get an email notification with their handle and information, which is rather neat. Recently, I was added by @ajwishbeginning. Since I had never heard of them before but was fascinated by their handle, I added ‘em and checked out their store, linked from their profile.
Soooo glad I did!
A Jewish Beginning offers information about and resources for mohels, bris milah (covenant of circumcision) ceremonies, and simchat bat (naming) ceremonies. Their wares are incredibly cute, and while their directory of mohels is a bit short, they still offer options in the following states, with more I’m sure to follow:
- California
- Florida
- Massachusetts
- Maryland
- Missouri
- New Jersey
- New York
- Oregon
- Pennsylvania
- Washington (state)
- Washington D.C.
Then there’s the link to their clothing shop, which offers some really adorable onesies for infants with some really funny phrases:
So thank you, A Jewish Beginning, for adding me to your list o’ tweets. As for the rest of you: Go check out their stuff! I have a feeling I’ll be getting a few of these onesies when we have our own little one…
Cute
Oh yeah, on the subject of babies… I totally forgot to tell you; my Mam posted a semi-recent photo of little Emma and one of her baby brother, Harrison last week. If you want to see them go to http://firefinch-karen.blogspot.com/2012/01/photos-of-harrison-and-emma.html
Oh, Tori, they’re both adorable!! I love their names, too — Emma and Harrison. One commenter is right, he doesn’t look like a newborn at all! Thank you for sharing these.
No problem.
That is adorable. Love them. We decided not to circ Flintstone, but of course we have no religious reason to.
I have a strange fondness for Hebrew and Yiddish mannerisms. You may have caught be dropping kvetch from time to time.
I don’t go on Twitter as often as I should either. I’m going to try to log in now. If I can remember my password. Are we following each other? I’m CheapWine42.
Haha! How many other Yiddish words do you find yourself dropping? I fully admit to using far more than the ones on the onesies above. And I’m your average shiksa. (To my credit, the Polish “siksa” means the same, so nyah.)
I don’t know if we’re following each other, but I’d love to follow you!
